It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden and heartbreaking loss of our beloved dad. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Stacy (Christa) Dybvig, Corry (Trent) Junop, his grandchildren, Jordyn, Camryn (Dion), Graeme, Katelyn (Carter), his great-grandson Maverick, his sister Lynne (Jim), and many other relatives and friends whose lives he touched over the years.

He was predeceased by his devoted wife of 57 years, Jane, his parents Eunice and Gordon Dybvig, his in-laws Olive and Nip Hawes, his brother Grant, his brother-in-law Brian, and many close friends.

Our dad’s presence will be deeply missed in many ways: from the hockey rinks and ball diamonds across the province, to his love of watching sports and sharing meals with his lifelong friends Don and Sharon. He brought joy to countless family gatherings and vacations. Dad was not only a friendly neighbor but also a beloved community member, a wise advisor, and a forever teacher. Whether as an electrician, a carpenter, a volunteer, or most importantly as a dad and grandpa, he leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, and unwavering support.

Please join us for a Celebration of Life at the Gordie Howe Sports Complex around 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 26, 2025. The program will commence at 2:30pm.

Wear a jersey! We all know dad had a passion for all sports.
