Zach Garrett to Play Hockey with Dakota College at Bottineau
Dakota College at Bottineau Lumberjacks are pleased to announce that Zach Garrett has committed to play hockey for the Lumberjacks for 2016-2017. Garrett from Creighton, Saskatchewan played for the Tri-Town Thunder in the Prairie Junior Hockey League. Zach was a PJHL All-Star and was a leader on and off the ice for the Thunder.
Coach Travis Rybchinski comments on Zach.
“We are happy to welcome Zach to be a part of our program. Randy and Leo from Tri-Town are good people and we are happy they steered Zach to DCB. Zach is what we look for in players in our program; he is a good person, he is a good player, and he wants to do well in the classroom. Zach will definitely do good things here in Bottineau.”
Dakota College at Bottineau is one of the eleven campuses in the North Dakota University System; which is governed North Dakota State Board of Higher Education. It was founded in 1906. The College offers 33 career/technical programs or options leading to certificates of completion, diplomas, or AAS degrees. It also offers comprehensive university parallel/transfer coursework leading to AA or AS degrees.
Lumberjack Hockey started in 1975 and is one of the top small college programs in the country. The Lumberjacks are coming off their 9
